  It has been 8 months since janela opened in SHIBUYA109 on the 6th floor. The apparel here is clearly
more of a mix between Harajyuku & Daikanyama Style rather than
the typical Shibuya trend, which consequently creates a completely
new sphere in Shibuya fashion. The talented Yanagiya San is the
brain behind the beautiful garments here, from product concept
to design, production and so forth…She is fashion oriented,
having 8 years experience behind her sleeves already. Yanagiya
San bases her designs on varies styles and ideas.
 I was impressed with the layout of the store, and asked Yanagiya
Store Manager how she came up with the concept for the interior. “I
want to display lots of items with patterns in my store, and in
order to do so, I tried toning down the colour and adding gold
paint so that the image portrayed wouldn’t be too cute.” I
did also notice the 2 dream weavers that hung from the wall, which
not only helps improve the atmosphere of the store, but also works
as a good luck charm for the guests.
janela fashion incorporates a lot of necklaces and accessories,
and incorporates different coordination with plenty of oomph! Currently,
janela has only opened the one store in SHIBUYA109. All the staff
here are laid back, cool in looks and smooth in style!

  janela uses ‘exotic’ and ‘retro’ designs.
Here, the apparel is loose-
looking, yet at the same time incorporates fine lines that shape your body. Not
only is there a great sense of balance in the design of the loose-fitting garments,
the tight-fitting tops here help show-off your feminine curves.
The theme for janela 2007 is mannish-looking exotic and retro style. Pay
attention to the poncho in patterns and the dress collection!Wow!
Look at the tailor-maid back pocket with original studs design!
Purple stitches can be found throughout the jeans here and there.
It is loose fitting, and by simply rolling up the hem, it switches
to boy’s denim, a MUST HAVE item!!

  SHIBUYA109’s ROSE
FAN FAN is very popular amongst customers from a wide range in age
bracket. Coming down from the 7th floor, you will see a dazzling
glare coming from the store towards your right. It comes as no
surprise to find cute & sweet ‘pink’ as the shop
colour. The combination of the pink used for the shop bags; the
pink used in the layout of the store; and pure white, is adored
by classic elegant ladies! What’s more, the interior of
this store undergoes renewal once a year to suit the changing
needs of females. This is just one example of how ROSE
FAN FAN strives to accommodate to its customers’ needs
The items here are all of the latest trend. I must not forget
to mention that ROSE FAN FAN fashion is based on the following
keywords mixed together: CUTE, SWEET, and COQUETTISH. All the
items here, including tops, skirts, dresses, coats and accessories
come under the autumn/winter ‘sweet rock’ theme.
Don’t overlook the skeleton designs, checkered patterns
and studs that have been used as motives in the items here!
This
knitted parker with pompon is one of ROSE FAN FAN’s
standard designs?Some how, I feel that it will become one
of the BIG HITS this winter. The pompons and the wappen
near the elbow with the store logo are absolutely adorable.

 The material of this gown is very gentle on the fingertip.
Since it keeps you quite warm, you can wear it over light
gear now and then. The collar and sleeves are BIG, not
